On behalf of BWINE – Les Vignobles Mottet, ClimatePartner has calculated the carbon emissions for
the product Chateau la France, supported by the Greenhouse Gas Protocol Product Life Cycle
Accounting and Reporting Standard (GHG Protocol). By calculating the product carbon footprint, it was possible to identify the potential for mitigating and reducing emissions and on this basis offset any unavoidable emissions. - Lightweight bottles
- Eco-friendly and recyclable corks
- Labels created from paper recycled from grape waste and using only bio-degradable ink
- Winery’s suppliers are all chosen within a 50-kilometre radius from the production site to reduce overall carbon footprint
- Creating an 84-ha forest on an abandoned agricultural land, planted with different local tree species and added other species to get a more resilient forest to answer today’s climate change issues
