Vin Haute Valeur Environnementale

The Estate

Château Sénéjac belongs by the Bignon family who are also the owners of Château Talbot, Grand Cru Classé of Saint-Julien. Château Sénéjac extends over 150 hectares, within which 41 hectares of vines are exploited. The vines are typical of the Médoc with a majority of Cabernet-Sauvignon (52%), followed by Merlot (36%), Cabernet-Franc (8%) and a touch of Petit Verdot (4%). The plots of vines are surrounded by a wide agricultural land – meadows and forest – that constitute a rich reserve of biodiversity that is carefully maintained.

48% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc, 39% Merlot et 3% Petit Verdot.

Tasting Notes

A deep color almost black in their young years. The very expressive nose exhales scents of cherries and spices with some earthy hints of age.
In mouth, the wine is medium-bodied but intense with fine almosts melted tannins. Ready to drink.
