These marquises are the shepherd girls who led their goats to clean up the edges and ditches of the vines. Goats loved brambles so much that they only left them a few blackberries to eat.
That’s the memory of Jean-Jacques Mailhac who took over the estate in 1993 and produced very fruity natural wines with aromas of blackcurrant…
Since 2013 the entire property is in organic farming.
