The Estate
Château Sénéjac belongs by the Bignon family who are also the owners of Château Talbot, Grand Cru Classé of Saint-Julien. Château Sénéjac extends over 150 hectares, within which 41 hectares of vines are exploited. The vines are typical of the Médoc with a majority of Cabernet-Sauvignon (51%), followed by Merlot (30%), Cabernet-Franc (11%) and a touch of Petit Verdot (8%). The plots of vines are surrounded by a wide agricultural land – meadows and forest – that constitute a rich reserve of biodiversity that is carefully maintained.
