Vin Haute Valeur Environnementale

The Estate

Château Sénéjac belongs by the Bignon family who are also the owners of Château Talbot, Grand Cru Classé of Saint-Julien. Château Sénéjac extends over 150 hectares, within which 41 hectares of vines are exploited. The vines are typical of the Médoc with a majority of Cabernet-Sauvignon (52%), followed by Merlot (36%), Cabernet-Franc (8%) and a touch of Petit Verdot (4%). The plots of vines are surrounded by a wide agricultural land – meadows and forest – that constitute a rich reserve of biodiversity that is carefully maintained.

Blend

51% Cabernet sauvignon, 8% cabernet franc, 37% de merlot et 4% petit verdot.

Tasting Notes

Château Sénéjac 2015 offers a beautiful red colour with brilliant reflections. The first nose is precise, with cherry notes. It is prolonged by spicy notes, sign of the presence of Petit Verdot. The attack in mouth is fresh, balanced and smooth. The tannins are silky and distinguished. On the palate, the fruits are ripe and fleshy. The finish is long, precise, with a beautiful aromatic intensity.
This vintage thus presents a very beautiful potential of guard, it is an elegant, aromatic wine, of a beautiful tannic smoothness which will delight all the amateurs of médoc.

Haut Medoc avec un fort potentiel de garde. Concentré et gourmand sur les fruits rouges cerise.

Le Sénéjac en 2015 est trés subtile et agréable à boire.
