The Estate

The estate has been bought by Pierre and Paulette Sallette and the first agricultural business there was catering and production of milk and corn.
José Sallette, their son, took over the estate in 1988 and began the plantation of vines. The estate is now 24 hectares.
Today their son Romain is working in a close cooperation with his parents.
Château Pierre de Montignac is now a part of the best Medoc Cru Bourgeois wines.

Blend

45 % Cabernet Sauvignon, 45 % Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc, 5 % Petit Verdot

Tasting Notes

Couleur rubis profond, avec un bouquet complexe de fruits noirs et d’amande grillée. La bouche développe un fruité mûr et généreux, agrémenté d’une touche épicée. Il séduit aussi par sa rondeur, son volume et ses tanins extraits en finesse.
