The Estate

Located between Bordeaux and Saint-Emilion, in the Entre-deux-Mers region, Château La France stretches over 90 hectares (222 acres) of land with 78 ha planted with vines – 71ha of red grapes and 7ha of whites. Château La France is certified “High Environmental Value”, the national farm certification which promotes particulary eco-friendly practices in agriculture.
Château La France was purchased by the Mottet Family in 2009 and since then the family keep on improving the quality of their wines, regularly awarded prestigious medals.

Blend

44 % Merlot, 30 % Malbec, 26 % Cabernet Sauvignon

Tasting Notes

Aged 12 months in oak barrels.

Beautiful purple color.
On the nose, aromas of black fruits (blackberries, cassis, cherry) and spicy and undergrowth notes.
In the mouth, a lively attack with notes of coffee, tobacco and leather.
A full-bodied wine with a silky texture with a fine and delicate woodiness.
Long and well-balanced finish.
