The Estate

Belonging to the Fournier-Castéja Family, the vineyard of Chateau Le Thys lies in the south of Bordeaux, in Entre-deux-Mers area, and lies on the hillsides overlooking the Garonne river.
In 1989 the vineyard was taken over by Eric Fournier (ex-owner of Château Canon Grand Cru Classé of Saint Emilion) and Hélène Castéja (wine merchant company Joanne). Since 2014 Château Le Thys belongs to a chinese hotel group New Mercury however is still managed by Arthur Fournier, the son of the Fournier-Castéja family.

Blend

67% Merlot, 19% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Cabernet Franc

Tasting Notes

Ce millésime 2018 a une jolie couleur rouge foncé.
Puissant en bouche et belle vivacité des tanins.
Au nez, de beaux arômes de fruits rouges, de fruits noirs et de cassis.
Tres bel équilibre en bouche.
