The Estate

Château Pape Clement is one of the oldest wine estates of Bordeaux region and it owes its historical name to its most famous owner: Pope Clement V. The estate is part of the Pessac-Léognan appellation situated in the Graves viticultural area. Based on a soil with exceptional components, out of the 60 hectares of the vineyard there are just 7 hectares devoted to the production of white wine.

Blend

55% Sauvignon Blanc, 30% Sémillon, 15% Sauvignon Gris.

Tasting Notes

Barrel ageing for 15 months.
A clear light gold colour. A fabulous nose of tropical fruits, pinapple, mango and orange, with hints of ginger and honey. On the palate, full-bodied, creamy and very expressive of exotic fruits, with a beautiful citrus freshness. A long and rich finish. Great ageing potential.
