The Estate

Located between Bordeaux and Saint-Emilion, in the Entre-deux-Mers region, Château La France stretches over 90 hectares (222 acres) of land with 78 ha planted with vines – 71ha of red grapes and 7ha of whites. Château La France is certified “High Environmental Value”, the national farm certification which promotes particulary eco-friendly practices in agriculture.
Château La France was purchased by the Mottet Family in 2009 and since then the family keep on improving the quality of their wines, regularly awarded prestigious medals.

Blend

75% Merlot, 12% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Malbec, 3% Cabernet Franc

Tasting Notes

Bright purple robe.

On the nose, lovely aromas of black fruits (blackberries), burlat cherry and some spices.

On the palate, the attack is lively with the same notes of blackberries, slightly spicy. A fine and delicate wine, with long after taste  and feedback on these fruity aromas.
