The Estate

Château La Croix de Gay is a red wine produced in the Pomerol appellation. The vineyard is 3.7 hectares and the vines grow in Günz and Mindel gravel. The ageing is done in barrels (60% new and 40% of a wine) for an average of 18 months.In historic center of Pomerol, since 1477, the Raynaud-Lebreton family combines burgundian idea of “climats” (unique individuality of each plot of vines) and bordeaux culture of blend. Château La Croix de Gay is one of the oldest estates of the appellation, archetypal Pomerol with the roundness and flavour of ripe merlot grapes with silky melted tannins.
